FILE SUMMARY

We’re creating *ISDAL: BROKEN* as an authentic fear experience, where *reality and fiction intertwine*. Inspired by real events, the game aims to build an intimate connection with the protagonist: not only so you follow his path, but so, at certain moments, *you recognize yourself* in what you’re living through.

*ISDAL: BROKEN* isn’t designed to rely on cheap jump scares. Its goal is more unsettling: *to play with the psychological* and make it part of the horror. We know this is an ambitious approach—where *guilt*, *trauma*, and *the perception of reality* carry constant weight, and where you decide how to move through the experience. That’s why it’s best enjoyed slowly, letting the story breathe and the atmosphere speak.

We’re also shaping the game so that, even after you finish it, it stays with you in a different way: through *multiple readings*, details that only click later, and signals that make sense once you know the full journey. The idea is that replaying it won’t feel like repeating it, but *discovering it again*—and that the second run can be even more disturbing than the first.
